Okami HD

While it wasn't a "resolution" of mine, I am attempting to actually finish whatever game I start. I tend to leave it abandoned after a while either because I got stuck somewhere, or I started playing something else on the side that got my full attention. I'm currently playing Okami HD and WWE '13. This is easy to balance since I finished the campaign mode in WWE '13 and I just play though a few matches for fun. I'm really loving Okami HD. It was meant to be in high definition. I also own Okami on PS2 and Wii. When I got the PS2 version off of eBay, I had also bought some other game and I ended up playing that instead and didn't even start Okami. It's pretty much brand new minus the shrink wrap I took off to look inside. Since I never played it I decided to get the Wii version when that came out. I played that but eventually got stuck at some point and never went back for a good while. On a random day I picked it up again and managed to get myself unstuck but still didn't try to finish the game. So now this time around I need to get past the point I reached in the Wii version and finish it through. I'm sure I won't get 100% on it, but as long as I get to the ending I'll consider it a mission accomplished. The good thing is that since it's been so long since I last played, the game feels 95% new to me. I do remember things here and there, but overall it's pretty much starting over.

The Hobbit

Just got back from watching The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I enjoyed the film despite not following the LOTR series. I saw the first one but don't really remember it much. I think my favorite character in the film was Gandalf. He was pretty badass at times. The scenery and soundtrack was great too. I'm willing to watch the rest and go back to the LOTR series and finish those off too.

Looper - Premium Rush

Tonight was a Joseph Gordon-Levitt movie night for the hangout I had with my friends today(was Thursday). Rented both and enjoyed both. I wouldn't have been disappointed paying money at the theater to see either one. I personally felt everyone did good with their roles. With Looper, I really like the little kid playing Cid(Pierce Gagnon). He was great.

Premium Rush has Levitt playing the role of a bike messenger(delivery service) in NY.Gets into some issues because of contents he's suppose to deliver. Does the job because of the rush he gets off of it compared to some office job where he'd be stuck in a room for hours doing boring stuff.

Looper has Levitt as a guy working for the mafia that disposes of bodies when needed. Movie's set in Kansas 2044. The bodies come from the future through time travel from 2074. He's assigned a time and place to shoot on arrival. Gets his payday with each kill. Things get interesting when the next person he's suppose to kill is his future self.

I'd recommend both movies; and thus they earn my seal of approval.

GetGlue

Not sure if I did it right but I have finally decided to request some of the stickers I've earned on GetGlue. Let's see how long it takes and what/how many they send.

Birth

Today one of my cousins gave birth to an un-named baby girl. I want to see her but probably won't until the weekend. Welcome to the family though! I'll update when I find out what her name is.

Edit: Forgot to add her name. She is forever to be known as Natalie = )

Finding Nemo

So I finally got to watching this movie in its entirety. I don't know why I took so long to do it, but I loved it. My favorite character was easily Ellen's Dory. I particularly loved her whale talk. I will own this on Blu-Ray in the future. That's for sure.

Enter 2013

So I'm going to try and revive this blog. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, but I might as well do SOMETHING. I think I only made one post last year. Gotta try to keep it more active.
