Birth

Today one of my cousins gave birth to an un-named baby girl. I want to see her but probably won't until the weekend. Welcome to the family though! I'll update when I find out what her name is.

Edit: Forgot to add her name. She is forever to be known as Natalie = )

Finding Nemo

So I finally got to watching this movie in its entirety. I don't know why I took so long to do it, but I loved it. My favorite character was easily Ellen's Dory. I particularly loved her whale talk. I will own this on Blu-Ray in the future. That's for sure.

Enter 2013

So I'm going to try and revive this blog. I have no idea what I'm going to do with it, but I might as well do SOMETHING. I think I only made one post last year. Gotta try to keep it more active.

2012 Begins

So it's officially 2012. Another 365 days to live life to its fullest(or not...depends on the person). Anyway, so this year I'm actually going to try and make/keep resolutions, but for the sake of not jinxing myself I'm not going to post what they are. Although I probably should so I actually remember what it was that I was hoping to do this year. I guess I can always edit this later if I feel like it. We'll see how it goes.

Puss In Boots

So I got to watch Puss In Boots today and I must say it was great. It's the type of movie I won't mind owning when it comes out on DVD. The movie tells the story of Puss in Boots(Antonio Banderas) in his days before meeting Shrek(there are no Shrek cameos in the film, and if there are, I didn't catch 'em). He sets out in an adventure with his friend Humpty Alexander Dumpty(Zach Galifianakis) to retrieve the Goose that lays golden eggs. Puss encounters a female counterpart, Kitty Softpaws(Salma Hayek). George Lopez' tv wife Constance Marie appears in the film as Puss' mother. Also shown in the film are Jack and Jill who have possession of the magic beans that Puss and Humpty need for their journey. In usual Dreamworks fashion there are jokes for the kids and jokes for the adults attending. I think my favorite line is when Puss says "maldito huevo." Music from Rodgrigo y Gabriela can be heard in the movie during a scene(which I thought was cool). Anywho, yeah I liked the movie and that's why it gets my seal of approval. Oh and you don't have to watch Shrek 2-4 in order to understand anything. Just thought I should say that in case it wasn't clear.
